Very interesting subject... I like the choice of background color but I think the texture competes with the leaf to some degree, maybe makes it a bit busy? Also in some respects this could be better techinically, it is overexposed in places and the DOF could be increased a bit. I hope you keep experimenting with this...
I too think this is worthy of being on Caedes. This macro is a bit unique & that is a good thing. Very good details of this leaf - seeing the veins and the intricate makeup is interesting, and it does look like snow is through out this lovely leaf. The background might be better if it was a solid black so it doesn't distract from the leaf. I Look forward to more of your images, Siete :)

Quite a unique image you have here. Personally, I would decrease the aperture to bring more of the leaf into sharp focus, and probably use a less prominent backdrop since it shows through the leaf, and while this adds depth, it detracts from the intricacy of your focus. Personally (yet again) I would also change the light location, though this is more in the interest of artistic expression than for any truly useful purpose.
Having said all that, I think this is a marvellous photograph!
Kudos on the excellent addition to the gallery!
