Think you might find this ... Geometrical Composition Guides ... tutorial/guide of some benefit. Not said in relation to your image presented here ... just some creative food for thought. Download the file and place in Photoshop ... call them up as 'Custom Shapes' to assist in composing.

The softness you achieved works well. If I may, think you could have asked your model to lose that pinkish strap on her arm though. Bit of visual distraction there. If not for, most certainly her eyes command your attention.

Additionally, there is a tutorial on the site here that addresses skin, or 'flawless flesh' as it is named I believe.
