This house is in a town in Iowa, a town that is almost 175 years old. It has multiple looks to it, the top resembling a church, that gingerbread look of victorian times, buried in a spot that has the foliage of a cottage in the country.

As soon as I saw the thumbnail of this I just knew it was going in my favourites.
What an incredible house! Is it the three bears or seven dwarfs who live there?
The way it's framed by the flowers and foliage is brilliant too.

Beautiful work Kathy. The treatment you used is exquisite. What town in Iowa? I think you must have Midwest roots.

Thanks everyone. I loved it as soon as I saw it. I grew up in the Quad Cities. 2 cities on the IL side of the Mississippi, (Moline/Rock Island) and 2 cities on the IA side (Davenport/Bettendorf) to make one community. I lived on both sides. This was in Davenport in the old section of town. Lots of houses that have this old charm the from 1800s. Although appreciated, the house carries most of the credit. I did very little to it actually. Thanks again!
