I took this picture in a place I visited not long back. I'd hate to know how many cavities you can get just from looking at these sweet treats!

In the VB I could not decide if this was very good or very bad. It is difficult to get shiny objects in focus using AF and this picture is rather blurred. However, the colours and subject are interesting. I would like to see a retake with a higher f stop to get more DoF and get clarity on the balls and a manual focus, then it would definitely be a good image.

I have to agree with Crysophilax on this. The focus is questionable. The shot, I think, is great and would certainly be worth setting up to shot it again, and as mentioned, a higher f stop.

Were you shooting through glass, as from one of those dispensers? That might account for some of the focus/lighting issues. I am wondering about the "Gumballs" notation. Great idea, especially with the orange gumball with the logo showing and the speckled gumball at the bottom.

This is pretty cool idea for a picture, I like all the different colors they are very eye catching. As the other comments said it does look like you were shooting through the glass, but hey its still a good picture !:)

I would skip the gumball tag in the corner. Completely ruins it, especially with the test going into the border. Makes it look amateur. With the focus fixed, it would be nice. 2/10

I agree, simon. I didn't know how else to rip out the glare from the shot in the corner though without messing up the pic. I appreciate your comment. If I get a chance to retake it, we will see what happens.
