On the way fromm Applcross to Sheildaig you turn the road at Fearnmore and are greated with views of the Torridan Mountains. This scenery was the most beautiful I have ever seen. I was so glad I went over the mountain and greatful to Gordon (Zorrofox) for recomending going to Wester Ross. When he told me the scenery was great he was right. I was going to clone out the fence but decided to leave it there, hope it`s not to distracting.

Just beautiful, Ian!! About how far out from civilization do you have to go to get these views? About the fence, that is the last thing noticed in this image. Your eye has so many other places to go.

Stunning mate! Absolutely stunning. For anyone interested the hill on the extreme left is called Beinn Alligin or Jeweled Hill in English (refers to how the mountain has a shape reminiscent of the facets of a precious stone), Liatach or The Grey One in English (not sure, it is grey, it is big) & behind it and just showing it's top is Beinn Eighe or File Hill (one of it's flanks when viewed side on appears serrated, like a file). I don't get out much, sorry, lol. Thanks for showing us these mate. Hope you don't mind me adding info. We could maybe get paid by VisitScotland, lol.

Gordon.
