Apophysis wasn`t playng nice tonight so thought I`d put this up. It`s my first go with an IR filter and I know this is pretty poor but I`ve uploded it for some advice (and to give Jan a laugh!) The settings were f8 / 20 secs . I think my original mistake was to shoot a scene with a large foreground object as it looks a bit to surreal I think. I think mabey 20 secs was to long as there is blurring in the grass and the tree due to a slight breeze but don`t think this would be to much of a problem if there was less foreground? I donno :~s..... Wot dya fink?

I feel cold looking at this picture. Making the picture out of focus makes it seem colder.

Absolutely beautiful. I get what you're sayin about the blurriness, but I don't think it takes away from it at all. Reminds me of Ansel Adams.

ohhhh so that is what IR is - infrared! slow I am! lol! I like the dreamy effect you have created using a slow speed shutter Ian! I cannot give you any advice because I do not have experience of shooting this kind of image, but it looks good to me!

There's something about it that I like but can't pinpoint. It almost looks like a miniature. I have no advice for you, didn't know what IR was til I read the comments. :) Nice work.
