The final pic I`m going to post from the BBQ the other week, the same view as the IR one but taken from a few miles futher up the loch side in a place called Tarbet a bit later on...the rain was on the way. Critique is very welcome.

It's not Scotland without a few dark clouds eh!....But they look very majestic in those mountains!...

Bugger the barby...go back and take more of these...digging up a few memories of the Lomond loch!...thanks!!

A neat spread!! Horizontal line is a wee askew tilting down from left to right. Luv that lavish light play across the view!!

A NOTE TO ALL MY FRIENDS: I WILL BE COMMENTING LESS ON PEOPLE IN MY “FRIENDS” LIST SO AS TO MAKE TIME FOR VIEWING ALL “NEW IMAGES” AND ENCOURAGING OTHER PEOPLE OF WHOM I MAY NOT KNOW OR ARE NEW TO THE SITE. I WILL STILL VIEW EVERY IMAGE OF MY FRIENDS AND STILL COMMENT ON SOME IF I CAN GIVE A GOOD CRITIQUE OR MENTION WHAT I LIKE OR FEEL IS REALLY WORKIN’ WELL IN THE IMAGE. AS FAR AS MY IMAGES IF YOU HAVE A COMMENT ON HOW I CAN IMPROVE AN IMAGE I REALLY WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THAT SO AS TO LEARN AND BETTER MYSELF.

I love the play of light and shadow in the mountains. Just a slight tilt to the horizon and you hit a 10!

I like the way the mountains lead the eye around and into the picture. I might have gone for more sky and less water, and yes the horizon, but still a good composition.

Love all the elements Ian, plenty of light in this despite the threatening clouds. The composition strikes me as a bit square with the land running thru the centre of the image and the cleft in the land where the loch disappears being right in the centre of the image and the eye led there by the shore line lines and the skyline lines. On the other hand it is so vastly superior to any loch photos I took I should just shutup now. :)
