Captured this this morning while having my coffee out on the upper back deck. These are our big Pink Clematis's against the brick wall on the northeast corner of our house. The one looks like it's really shy and is hiding behind the small leaf.

Had to climb a step ladder up 1.5m/5ft up and couldn't not get close enough to put that leaf behind the blossom, oh well.

Used Adobe Photoshop to enhance the colour and bring out more detail, then used iPiccy.com to make it smaller.

Will try to catch up on commenting and sending out my thanks over the day.

What a gorgeous color, Pat. Your dark purple are pretty and so are these, what You call pink look lavender to me and they are beautiful.

Wonderful presentation of the pink/lavender clematis against the texture of the bricks. Sharp image, great lighting! I think it was well worth the climb!
