A little something different from me, this is my first try at capturing just clouds. These gorgeous Cumulonimbus Clouds, classified as Low Clouds or thunderheads as I call them were floating by yesterday (July 24, 2015) with the Cirrus Clouds, classified as High Clouds, just up above them.

Last evening and over night we had thunderstorms with lots of lighting, I could watch the lighting through the skylight in the bedroom. Today is a gorgeous sunny day, for the next 3 days it is going to the over 30C/86F.

Used Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 to bring out more detail, then used iPiccy.com for downsizing.

That's the kind of clouds I love to have in the sky when out taking pictures. Sorry to say that they don't always show up for me. Beautiful shot, Pat.

Well, I now know where all the white fluffy clouds have gone, you've got them all!
Keeping it simple is sometimes best, but isn't always easy to take a photo of. You've managed to do just that.
(makes note to himself, take photo's of clouds. People might think you're mad, but it actually is pretty cool...). :)

I really like looking at clouds Pat...especially the nice fluffy ones against the blue skies. Those dark angry ones are the ones you have to watch out for. I'm glad you posted these. Clouds are amazing and diverse. Good capture.

The clouds look beautiful! I found about one hundred images of the sky (clouds, sunsets, etc.) on the hard drive of my late husband (the photographer in our family) after he passed...just the sky and nothing else. He was always intrigued by it. Anyway, thank you for the memory and this lovely presentation.

Beautiful shot of the clouds, Pat. Amazing how we can look to the sky and see so much beauty. They especially look wonderful when You are floating around the Lake in a sailboat.
