Sorry for taking the first one down, on a suggestion from Tim I decided to rework the background. Thanks Tim.. Also thanks to Rich and Raj for leaving comments on the 1st one.

This is our iris that's is called: Holy Night. It blooms in June, ours came out around June 20 this year.

Thought this would make a good Foofy Friday. Captured this after a light rain fall, if you view in full you can see the droplets.

Brought out more detail and made is smaller to upload here.

Trying to catch up on commenting, our internet is slower then usual and the techs for our provider are coming out Monday morning to check everything.

Thank you in advance for your time, friendship and comments most welcomed.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

There is a disease the deer get in my area called "Blue Tongue," Skates. You don't suppose it because they eat these beauties? I doubt it!! Sweet shot.

Pat, I thought by reading only your title that you would try to bring us already in the X-mas mood, ☺ .
'Somewhat' too early, so your wonderful Foofy Friday post was to a certain extent a relief for me.
Vivid an deep colors make this one to a very special one, my friend!
