This collage shows 2 of the tropical birds: Top bird is called: Masked Booby & of course the Bottom one is called" Brown Booby

Boobies are powerful birds in flight, and absolutely amazing divers, while gliding there, they use their outstanding vision to watch for the tiny flying fish.

Thanks to John I found out there are 6 different kind of booby's, found nesting on the tropical and subtropical islands, here is the link: Click Here

Thank you for you time and comments most welcomed.

Have a Beautiful Day. ♥ Skates

How interesting Pat. You forced me to google the Masked Booby and I found out that there are six species of Boobys living on the eastern coast of the Pacific in Central and Southern America. Thanks for posting this picture of two of those six family members.

They have to be careful not to fall into a Booby Trap Skates.
Great shot and thanks for all the info. Chances are I will never see one in Missouri.
Good information as well.

Pat, this is a very fine collage of Boobies in flight.
I suppose that you've taken this image on board of the MS 'Carnival Magic' during your Carribean cruise. In the wake of ships there are always fishes, some of them are numbed by the turbulent water due to the turning of the propellers. An ideal prey for seagulls and related species. That is why they accompany a ship as long as possible on her (a ship is female, 😁) journey.
Good work, my friend!
