Took these pictures of the beautiful full moon early this morning. It is called the Worm Moon because it is the last Full Moon of the winter season in March, named because of the earthworms that come out at the end of winter. Is is also known as the Crow Moon, Crust Moon, Sap Moon, Sugar Moon, and Chaste Moon. The Old English/Anglo-Saxon name is Lenten Moon.

Also known as a Super Moon

Hoping to view the images and comment on as many as possible before having to do my Granddaughter duties.

Thank you in advance for your comments, friendship and patience.

Have a wonderful day, ♥ Skates

Pat,
I've read your very interesting narrative. I see that you've added the nickname "Super Moon too.
The moon reaches a minimum distance to the Earth every 29 days. If that moment coincides with a full moon, we speak of a Super Moon. The celestial body therefore appears to be larger and brighter.
Your collage shows anyhow perfect photographs of the Worm Moon, Super Moon, and so on (😁) phenomenon.
Perfectly done per usual, my friend, 👍 !

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Good shots, Pat. My wife and I were out driving and the moon looked so big that it appeared we could reach out and touch it. I didn't get any pictures...being dangerous to drive and shoot at the same time.
