The structure of a derelict viaduct. I have been experimenting with photographing shadows and was happy how this turned out. Opinions really appreciated thank you for commenting in advance. Nikon D80 / 17-70mm VR / Green filter

A rugged photo made more so by the grayscale. You succeeded in capturing a bold interplay of light and shadow. I believe you would have heightened its appeal even more with a stronger 'center-of-interest.'

I agree with Edoctober regarding the center of interest.
I also agree you did a good job capturing shadows and iron and light.

You really succeeded with the great contrast of black and white. The lighting was just perfect, it really makes it look strong even though abandoned! Great work!

As stated above, black and white was a good choice, but it does lack a specific center of interest. It is hard for a viewer to decide where to look. Therefore, it does not hold your interest.
