This was the only thing that caught my eye in the back garden on a dreary Sunday afternoon in Ireland

I love this, great idea! I like how the peg dissapears out of the frame, and looks like an out of proportion giant peg :) Nice work

wow! this is a wonderful capture! you have amazing perspective and an eye for photography! isnt it fun to take such little, unnoticed things and turn them into art?! the string is a bit blurry, but overall its a great shot! excellent work! :)

I asked Jesus how much he loved me. He said "this much" then he spread his arms out and died.

Haven't seen one of these in a long time. They're mostly made of plastic, here now. Brings back memories of one of my assigned tasks, as a child. Blue skies, billowy white clouds and beautiful barn swallows darting in and out between the lines of clothing, as I was pinning up the seemingly endless baskets of wash. Thanks for the memories.

Great perspective and I like the hint of green moss on the clothespin and the yellow flowers in the background. Oh... and welcome to Caedes ~ looking forward to more of your interesting postings. Gisele

I like this a lot! I really like pictures of little things like this that people don't really take the time to look at, and making them look at them. I also like that the pin seems worn, like it has been used and sort of had a "life" or a story, if that makes sense. Great job!

I think this is a wonderfully creative shot! I like it very much. The perspective is sensational and even if the string is a tad underfocused, the clothespin is not and that is really the focal point. A great macro too and that pin looks like it has been exposed to the elements for awhile.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
