well Ppigeon has a great picture posted from empire state buliding, but I still wanted to post this one. I like the sky during sunset. Hope someone else likes it too.

I'm really into goth rock and new wave. My favorite band is The Birthday Massacre. The guy in my avatar is, in fact, a guy. His name is Mana from the band Malice Mizer.

I think it's a great capture. Love the color right at the horizon line. Now on my desktop and thanks.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.

great shot...the horizon looks very nice with half of it a shade of pink/orange, it almost looks like the two buildings in the foreground are reflecting it off of their towers, good job.

I agree with the above comments. I can sit a stare at city shots all day. The details in this one will keep me occupied for some time. Nice work.

Beautiful shot! How did you get that angle? Being a fan myself of cityscapes and sunsets, this is perfect! Love how the city hasn't lit up yet to spoil the beauty of the sunset. Great stuff!

Taken from the empire state buliding looking towards the statue of liberty. We got there just before the sunset. And you could see the city basking in the evening glow. Glad u like it.

Having lived in Brooklyn I appreciate this view. Very good. You did real good, but I don't know what sea is in the background?

Beautiful shot. I can't wait to go back. I went twice earlier this year. My boss and I spent Thanksgiving there. Now we are going to spend Christmas and New Year's this year :)
