Couldn’t resist getting down low for this one. They are the flowers of “hens & chicks”, a succulent. This is the first year that they are really pretty.

I had not heard of these plants until someone here at Caedes posted a photograph! ...I just keep looking for hens and chickens! lol! ..a very good photograph Joe - I particularly like the in focus flowers at the top fading to out of focus at the bottom! It creates a nice effect!

I very much like the effect your depth of field has on this one, Ironjoe -- and the softness of th light on the sharp-tipped flowers! Excellent work.

Never seen these in bloom either. I agree with fogz on the focus, and I like the colours and clarity as well.
