I'll be honest, I don't know what kind of flowers these are! (edit: as the comments suggest, these do appear to be forsythia.) I just loved looking up past them at the sky - felt like a spring dream.
This appears to be a forsythia. It is a very dramatic and unusual presentation with the two twigs pointing diagonally at the beautiful sky. Even the clouds seem to frame the blossoms. Well done.
I was thinking more like 'Gorse broom' but there are no spikes on here ..so I could be wrong....Great shot against that beautiful sky...really high lights the plant.......
wow nice shot i like how instead of taking a pic from the side you did it you know how ever you did up or sm i like the sky and clouds in this pic nice job oh and the flowers they're great ,lilblacfro
Thank you for the comments, all - I do believe jcferg99 is right, and that this is a forsythia. I peered at some pictures of Gorse and it doesn't look the same way that the plant did. I will have to go back next spring and take another picture when the plant is more mature.
beautiful! love the angle and the focus is great! and the colors are just so pretty and refreshing. love the simplicity of the image and the angle of the branches makes for very nice composition. i just love forsythias...they are so pretty. i also have posted a picture of them...some what similar..but i do liike yours very very much! great work! ~abby
