Just as treasures are uncovered from the earth, so virtue appears from good deeds, and wisdom appears from a pure and peaceful mind. To walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue.” Buddha quotes:: Peace and happiness everyone, Dwight.

This is one of those moments when you yell "stop the car" and the driver slams on the brakes panicking with wonders of what the heck is wrong with you, only to find out you just had to get this picture before the light changed. After your done snapping up the moment in time they start wacking on you with the nearest harmless object because you about gave them a heart attack. Great photo! Jodie

Buddha doesn't cut it for me but your composition sure does. What wonderful lighting. That was not an easy capture, but you did it and quite expertly. Nice and a keeper.

Great use of the backlighting for a dramatic image Dwight. I almost expect a figure to appear from the mist/fog. Extremely eye-catching to the viewer. Thanks for sharing this with us. :~)

I like this too, but maybe not quite as much as others. If only the far right was cropped off to add to the mystery of where the road leads.

Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. - Churchill

Dwight this is another beauty. It's almost like walking into the light once the end of days is here. It will be the most beautiful thing I think!

Without our natural landscapes and animals this country would be boring. Let's try to help to preserve such treasures.

This is a lovely shot, it reminds me of those movies where the small child is going towards the light. If the right of the picture had been cropped so that the dark shadows of the trees were framing the pathway, I would think that heaven was on the other side.
