If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive." -- Eleonora Duse: Peace and happiness to all who venture here. Dwight.

Delightful picture... gives me the feeling that I have been sneaking up so as to not startle the cattle...but haven't fooled them... the few red leaves on the right add a nice bit of depth & color.

A beautiful composition Dwight - and the words to go with it are very fitting.
It exudes peace and tranquility.

Oh, I just had to save this one. These must be a bunch of very well-behaved cows. They certainly don't require much of a fence to hold them in line. The natural frame is what really sets this apart, and your quotation is perfect for this scene :)

I find this really attractive and elegantly framed. Really different. Love the red leaves. A keeper.

I like the way you were able to get the cows to look at the camera, and the way you framed them. Really looks great on my new monitor. ;-)

Sorry that I haven't been commenting more. Just got lazy? But I did look at most of them. And again, thanks to all of you for your comments on mine. Steve

I like this and I like the sentiment. Great use of framing, and a real sense of contrast - the vegetation feels exotic but the animals very familiar. Nice work!
