Well, its certainly a beautiful sky, the sun is very bright.
It is a bit grainy but the colour is lovely..unusual towers with the sections letting the sun through.
You have a good eye Jacques, you see interesting things, that's a powerful good gift in a photographer. The sky on this image is beautiful, especially at a size where the grain is not noticeable. Your composition is good with the sky roughly two thirds of the picture. (If you click on the "other stuff" link under "navigation" over on the right of this page, you'll see a bunch of other links, one says "rules of composition", click on that, it will tell you about the "rule of thirds", a very useful key to taking strong photographs.)
Thanks for sharing this Jacques, it's well worth looking at.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

this is a really good photo. although i would have probably placed the towers slightly to one side. I think this works well and i am unsure if that would be an improvement or not. Just remember it does not matter what camera you use you can always take a good picture if you know how. keep up the good work.
