Welcome to caedes !! I love this posting of yours. It would be nice if you had something near this fungus so we could compare as to size...I have seen those grow SO huge...but this one is a pretty colour! Its shaped almost like a tiny hippopotamus with a dress on! LOL..I guess us photographers have a vivid imagination eh? thanx for the posting....its very nice!!

I like the contrast of verticle bark lines that the fungus is against. ALso , if you're ok with manipulating a little bit, it would look cool to turn up the saturation a tad and see what kind of colors come out. sometimes it looks awesome.
Also verenabloo makes a good point, it would be nice to ahve some relation. but of course don't be pressured to do anything we say. just go for what you were trying to accoomplish. good work.
