Found in the back yard, note the small holes in the stalk and the feathery texture found on the cap... it's about halfway through its bloom, which takes roughly 4-5 days, based on another one I found.

Very nice capture ! That mushroom is a perfect contrast to the ground vegetation, the picture is clear & sharp. Excellent work !

What an interesting shroom!! So much texture going on there..and you can almost smell the mustiness of the forest floor. Beautiful shot!!

I have enjoyed this presentation and Lone Fungus too. Excellent captures with nice textures and surrounding clear natural non distracting ground cover. I find the contrast and light a bit low. I couldn't believe the additional color and texture that popped out at me when I worked on them a little. Fine desktops. Nicely composed.
