It is amazing how these little eggs have their 'nest' in the pretty little stones.I hope no one would hurt the eggs and that no animal would eat them. A strange place for a nest to be. But you took a beautiful photo. The colours are clear and soft. I welcome you to caedes and hope you will post another photo soon. I also want to thank you for your comment on the baby horse. Verena

Excellent first post. It amazes me to no end how these little guys survive. I have stumbled on nests just like that in creek and river beds. Somehow they know just how high to make their nests. Very beautiful rendition.
