I love these kinds of shots. Find them to be.. beautiful, in their own rights/ways.

Good good composition. Very good, in fact, to my eyes and in my humble opinion. Tonal range is good, as well.


Caveats?

Some clarity/focus ... some, that is ... is lost in the back. Or, left-hand side .. left thirds, where the pipe stacks or machinery(?) are located within frame. Maybe a little sharpening might provide an assist?

Still on the note of clarity/focus ... not sure if you cropped the original. Or, that of your focus being off to the right ... again, 'some' being the operative word. Perhaps a wider/deeper DOF then, might have corrected for what I am seeing here.

But.. but ... I am, as they say, nit picking in the above. Meaning, minor considerations at best.

It..is..a..nice ... shot.

And one that I do enjoy, not simply because of the subject matter ... add in your skill and creativity behind the lens.

Leuk dat Les (purmusic) van dit soort foto's kan genieten omdat
hij geen enkele affiniteit met de werkelijkheid heeft gehad !
Kan je hem ook niet kwalijk nemen hoor
Maar jij en ik kunnen deze foto nauwelijks met droge ogen bekijken. Het is een foto met een verhaal, zonder dat je het op papier kunt vastleggen
Het is een gedeelte, uit ons leven wat is vast geroest in onze
harten, en nog steeds door onze aderen stroomt, en nooit meer zal verdwijnen net zolang als we nog leven tegoed hebben !
Wie had ooit kunnen denken dat dit eens zo'n welvarend bedrijf
door de 'wereld machthebbers' (W.T.O)geruineerd zou worden

Desolate is right!!! A super capture Japp and I have to agree with Les regarding the sharpening. I to love these kind of images and you are on a roll buddy. Keep them coming:)
