The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
The composition is excellent, and an interesting image as well.
It loses impact because it's rather muddy(dull/dark.
A bit of + Gamma and Contrast(not too much), brightens it up and still provides the subtlety of the colours.

Interesting that this image appears blurry at lower resolutions but sharpens beautifully at the highest res. I love your choice of colors and the uniqueness of this abstract.

There is definitely some nice crisp texture, however to be fair, it seems the piece lacks composition? Feeling like there is no particular place for the eyes to rest for the few areas of content that are there, and the one purpose they serve.
But I am of a bias opinion, I over saturate colors, and generally prefer many focal points.
