Ephessos is one of the most interesting archeological sites of the ancient world. Excavations have discovered remains of many cultures including the Greek and Roman at this site near Kusadasi, Turkey. Here is just one small piece of a column amid the spring flowers. I hope you will enjoy this image and let me know what you think especially of any improvements you would like to suggest.

This is gorgeous. I was there last May and I loved the poppies growing wild among the ruins. When did you go there?

Very nice capture, The bright red and green colors look great among the ruins. I would have tried to get more of the rocks on top into the picture. I enjoy it very much. Hope to see more from there.

I like it just the way it is...The grey stones and the red poppies..well, what a grand match!!
The only thing I might have changed would be to also take a "closeup" of maybe the top of the column and then be able to see the red poppies a bit closer and brighter...but I love this just like it is....Verena

Ephessos is such a magical place, all the brightly colored flowers growing up around the ruins. You've captured this well. Good job.

Great picture JoAnn. Definitely catches the eye. The only thing that I would change is maybe crop out the stones at the top of the picture. This would look good with just the old column and red poppies. Thanks for another great picture from your trip.
