We have been having colder than normal weather here in Oregon so we decided to check out Multnomah Falls yesterday. It looks quite a bit different than it did in October. See Multnomah Falls

Oh my, I guess it sure does! Now all the leaves of green are gone and the water is partially frozen. I'm glad you took this to show the difference. That is such a wonderful waterfall.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

WHAT a BEAUTIFUL SHOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Simply Incredible! I can see a THOUSAND Shots that I could take from that Bridge!!
Great "eye" for the capture JoAnn. Now, can ya post one of the complete picture, without framing? On my 24" Monitor, I could just "fall in".!! :-)

Most definitely different.
Another lovely shot of this beautiful place JoAnn, it looks like something from a fairy tale.

Wow...I'm going to have to ask foxfire if I can view this on his 24" monitor..it must be dynamite, cause on my little 17 incher , it's a stunner as it is. I remember this shot from last fall and I think this is an improvement over the other..great job.

Awesome perspective, it really gives a dramatic sense of height and the bridge is wonderful, you wouldn't get me across it though:)

What a striking difference between your winter and autumn shots of this scene, JoAnn. This one is an especially good capture of the waterfall and all those muted colours surrounding it. Superb!! Out of interest, are the public allowed to cross the bridge?
