I am tired of winter so I pulled this up from my treasure trove and practiced a little on selecting and feathering and blurring. I hope you will enjoy it. I appreciate all comments and please feel free to make suggestions for improvement.

I like everything you did with this, the colors and DOF are very good, the flower is reaching out for you to say, hey look at me, take my pic. Great photo

I think columbines are the most underrated flowers. They have everything - multiple colours and the most wonderful shape and low maintenance. No scent I guess.
A lovely portrayal - bright and cheerful :)

She's beautiful and I've yet to learn those techniques you spoke of though I will try to find out how to do it some time. A really nice post.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Columbines are one of the prettiest tropical looking flowers that grow so easily in Oregon. I love them because they come in such a wonderful array of colours. Thank you for posting something so pretty...verena
