I photographed this iris ensata a little earlier in the season and do not know the variety name. I hope you enjoy it and will let me know of any suggestions for improvement.
Oh Yes, another flower.
And a stunningly beautiful one at that. It is residing on my desktop and looking gorgeous.
Improvement? this iris, like the lily, does not need to be gilded.
Beautiful :)
I never tire of flowers....not here and not in real time either, so if you have any more of these that you're hiding, please bring them on. Lovely Iris, but I can't help you with its name :)
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
Seu macro esta ótimo e se permite encontrar um "defeito" pode ser que esteja fora de centro.
Mas está lindo.
Its macro this excellent one and if allows to find a "defect" can be that it is it are of center. But he is pretty.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Beautiful complimentary colours, JoAnn and your iris jumps right out of the screen at full resolution. A wonderful shot with incredible detail in the flower's leaves. Well done!

Great shot JoAnn, as usual.... My flowers around here,
usually turn into weeds??? Wonder if it has anything to
do with being in the PNW??? Again, Great shot and capture..
I don't know anyone that has enough images of flowers! Whether it be Macro,Fractal,Surreal or Abstract. I like all of them, especially the ones that deserve a #10 gold pendent (like the one above) Excellent shot
Irises are my favorite flower, and you have captured postively the most beautiful iris pic I've ever seen! Whatever kind of iris it is, it sure is a beauty. Thanks for sharing this with everyone!
