This was early morning in the spring and I had fresh tulips and placed them in the sun that was streaming into my home.

OUTSTANDING! This is a great noir photo. Romantic yet slightly haunting. Excellent capture of lights and darks. Full tonal range. Great clarity. I couldn't find something to complain about if I tried...well, other than you getting robbed on the C-Index...

i just had this in the vb, your idea is great, but there are a couple of distractions, one being the H-shaped shadow on the wall and the other being the little leaves sticking in the side of the shot, if you had included a bit more of the vase of tulips and without the minor distractions this would have got a 10 from me cos i really like the style of the photograph and the black and white works really well, good stuff and definatly worth a reshoot imho.

I like the original concept ,great idea for B&W,..lovely subject and lighting..but ,you must to rework the"H"shadow on the wall..still a very beautiful work!..:)

I really like this shot. It has a very classic feel to it.

I didn't know tulips could look so...scary. :) Same thing with the letter H. Definitely thought-provoking!
