A bit of a fixer-upper I'd say.... pop a couple dormers in the roof on each side, add a salt box addition on the back side...
Neat image. B&W is a great idea here. Thanks, Jarrod.
If old houses could talk, what stories would they tell? The loneliness and hardship are palatable at this time, but was there joy and happiness also? All things come to past when their need has ended. I too love these photos of old and abandoned thing, and B&W perfectly reflects their time in history. Thanks for sharing JD.
Beautifully presented in b&w here giving it a depression era ambiance. Wonderful dof making the old house seem as though it is sitting on hundreds of acres of vast fields with no other house for miles around. Very nicely presented- I've enjoyed viewing and commenting.
Well sir, I has ta tell ya. That there house ain't abandoned, I'm on a vacation. As you can see, there ain't no neighbors around my property. That's a cause when I set out ta building this beauty, I got ta thinkin' that everybody was a gonna be jellous, so I builded it up there in Canada. I hate people bein' jellous of all my high class stuff. They even talks ahind my back about my nice car, and how it only has three rust holes in it. I hopes no one a busted into my house whilst I was in Green Gulch, Ohia visitin' Cuzin Jasper. I'd be a hoppin' mad if someone was ta stoled my record player.
Well done.
