I can't remember for certain what the plant was that these leaves belonged to...but they were cool looking. I think they are hosta leaves.

not sure if it is the effect you were after, but the grain imo takes away from displaying the wide tonal range and quality that should exist in this piece. A keen eye for the composition, the b/w was a good choice to enhance this simple but fine subject and capture.

I have to agree with Rick, I think the composition would stand up better with less grain. Nevertheless a good picture.
