I took this photo on the same day I watched an airshow. The planes were impressive but I was fascinated to watch seagulls flying overhead after the show. This is the real thing....even though it's a seagull...it was so graceful as it flew.

Very nice! The white of the bird is somewhat overexposed, no doubt due to bright sunlight, but I'm not sure that hurts the picture...it adds something unique, imho. The kky is SO blue and the focus is great. Well done!

I'm rather fond of your use of visual movement and how the diagonal lines help pull your eyes back and forth through the bird. I also like how the slight blur to the wings make them look soft and graceful. The blue sky is absolutely stunning. I do agree that it is slightly over exposed, but regardless, it is still marvelous.
