he looks a little mad! they are protected in hawaii. they can be pests if you live in certain places. they want food and they also like to use patios as rest rooms. the ones this guy hangs out with are very tame.

Wow, nice capture. I remember seeing a few in Hawaii & they can be a little fiesty. The birds features stand out nicely against the blended background. Great work.
This is an awesome capture Jen..love it! can I tell you a little tale about these!...I had one that chased me for my 'Wedgie'! ( Sandwich)...It ran at me that hard, it knocked me over!
I was tangled in it's feathers and 'such'! getting bitten by that bloody big gob!.as it searched for my wedgie!..I had to give it to him at the finish..the the ungrateful sod. crapped on me too !!!
Sorry about all that love..had to get it off my chest!....Yes these 'things' are pretty to look at and to photograph....but be very wary of them! you done well with this!...and I give you my top marks for your bravery!..........Bob
My goodness, if his tongue wasn't out an slippery with saliva and a blade of grass, I would have thought he was made out of wood. What a fantastic shot Jen, you are a master.
