Now THIS is a gull with attitude. What a great capture, Jen. I half expect this fellow to go into a Michael Jackson Moon Walk. Marvellous clarity in this shot and I like how by shooting low, you've kept the background clear of extraneous detail, whilst the dark water really punches up the colour of the gull. Another good one, Jen!!
I really like the way you have managed to focus this shot. The head and the eyes which is the most important is focused very well and the legs blurred just right to give the sence of motion.
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita

Michael jackson moon Walk. That's it. That is what he is doing. Nice clarity and sharpness and his eye is lookin right at us. The gull is a little different in color too from some gulls. He's a unique little fellow. Very nicely done.

A strolling sea gull with pink legs, where you find something like that. The sea gull also still looks at you as if he thinks, your put me well on the picture.
I was just about to log out when I saw this most attractive fellow strolling the boardwalk and couldn't resist visiting in full screen. He is indeed "strolling" with his strutting pink feet and aristrocratic air. Or maybe he's just thinking, "What you lookin' at?!" No matter, this is a great capture all the way 'round. Very well done and good on you for sharing--thank you! -Twig
Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand.
