well, here's another splash shot. this one was taken on kauai's south side. notice the lithified rock in the foreground. it's quite lacy and sharp. also notice how the waves have undercut the ledge. on the rock you can see a local fisherman. this is a wild and beautiful spot. enjoy!

The rawness of the photo is quite powerful.

Beautiful capture of the dynamic crashing of the surf. The rocks look very rugged and the color of the sea is wonderful. Having the fisherman there gives a good sense of the great size of those waves.

A powerful image. I'm glad there was a fisherman to display the scale of the scene. That rock looks like a shark's head to me.
