The background in this one really brings the flower out. I love those colours in there.

Very nice indeed. I really like the angle. This one jumps out at me as not being just another flower shot. I think the fact that the one petal has fallen and has collected some debris says that the flower is a little past it, yet the rest of the flower still looks very nice. Good job on this one.

Well...I have seen this in every form but one with a bullet hole in it. Once again a fine macro...I think the flower is finally falling apart. Now don't cry...I'm just yankin yer chain.

What a gorgeous flower. I am impressed with the petal holding the fallen stamens, as if to say, I am not only beautiful, but I am fastidious too!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I can't help but thinking (although I haven't said it outloud yet) that the stamens look like matchsticks, albeit a bit limp! Great shot.
