the background with the red leaves seemed to complement the total scene quite well. i also thought this lion was truly beautiful. enjoy

And all that stood between you was the 300mm lens? Wow! Quite a splendid shot and he seems to be well fed and doing what lions do best, growling. The red leaves do accentuate his fine fur quite well, you are right.
