OK..who spilled the box of Oxydol? ...I love the low angle that you shot this. The suds leads you right to that dramatic sky. The entire picture is super. Very nice, Jen. Happy New Year.
Cool shot, Jen. You have used this rocky foreground perspective before and it is always effective. I am enjoying your Oregon series. Too bad we can't get the sun to come out to make you welcome.

In thumbnail it looks like a huge flock of blackbirds soaking up the suds. Full screen it looks beautiful. I've seen so much snow in my neck of the woods this even looks like snow. I need some suds to clear my head. Love the contrasts in this one. Very good, Jen. Happy New Year.
The coastline appears to go on for ever. I like the angle you held the camera at to shoot this. Were I in bare feet, I'd be walking along going 'ooch' and 'ouch' with all those rocks. I guess it's all the rocks that helped create all the foam. Nice shot, Jen.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

"Once there were brook trout...standing in the amber current...polished and torsional..on their backs were vermiculate patterns that were maps of the world in its becoming. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again." Cormac MCarthy
Jen..was this at the Oregon coast too? It looks like it to me. And with the storms we had on the coast, those rocks sure would have tumbled right onto the beaches.Tell me more about it please..Verena
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Jen, most of the times foam at the beach means a past storm at sea/ocean. It creates anyhow a wonderful scenery. Again an image according to my heart. Very well done.
Happy New Year, Cornelius
