You did yourself proud Jen. Owd Timer should be proud as well. I love the curving walkway and the whole setting. I can't imagine getting a more encompassing photo. Beautiful.

Fountain's Abbey is a very magical place. It is so huge. It must have been magnificent when it was up and running. This is a great image of it Jen, well one.

I looked at some of the other fountains abbey pics on the site, and I didn't see one that was taken exactly from this perspective.

What an impressive venue and view from you!

Beautifully captured Jen ... I'm glad you got to enjoy this site. I'm enjoying the color contrasts presented in this scene as well as the Abbey itself. Very nicely done.

Beautiful capture of the north aisle wall, Jen. It is, indeed, a wondrous place to visit. Imagine what this would have been like if the Pope and Henry had not been at odds.

Although we've seen a lot of images from Fountains Abbey taken by Owd Bob, this place is that beautiful that it never becomes dull or boring by watching other (good) images of it.
To me this post is a perfect one Jen. Impressive capture too.
Regards, Cornelius.

That's one I'd love to see, too, and it's great to see it through your eyes as well as Owd Bob's. I like the winding road on the left and the way you captured the whole Abbey.
