i've been away from caedes for a week. this is because i was with my family in north carolina in a house that didn't have an internet connection. that's why you haven't been hearing from me..................well, i'm back! i couldn't decide whether to put this one with boats or skies but decided on the former. it is taken very close to the fort fisher landing. the ferry crosses the mouth of the cape fear river and goes to southport, nc on the other side. the ocean was behind me as i took this photo. the area is simply beautiful. enjoy! thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions. they are always appreciated.

Welcomne back Jen. A beautiful capture & the ferry stands out so nicely with the contrasting blues & greens. Very well done.

Nic job. The only thing I would add is that I would have enjoyed more boat and less sky. Thanks for sharing.

Ths is a fantastic shot, I think. The boat is so clear and that sky - great. The contrasts look fine to me - and it is pin sharp. Great work, as always.
Welcome back :)

I didn't look at this as a possible desktop candidate just a pretty image. But after some thought, this makes a wonderful desktop and that is where it is right now. The exposure is spot on. The sky is so gentle and to die for. Wonderful image.
