taken the same day as the montezuma well shot. i liked this because of the stream. we don't have many in our area that look like this unless it has just rained. enjoy! thanks for any comments.
Amazing landscapes in your part of the land, Jen. The parallel gray tones lines in the mountains provide wonderful contrast to the diagonal colored lines of the foreground vegetation. Rain really makes a difference in the landscape. Ours yesterday was a forest of falling over and iced up tree limbs reaching for the earth. Without power here for over twelve hours because of it too. lol
It's a busy scene, but it definitely works. It has a lot of different "layers" that, in my mind, really fit well together. The Autumn leaves cut in between the green grasses at the base of the rocky mountains. Awesome shot!!
I agree - this is a busy scene for me visually, but I think it works, too. Mostly because colors group together into interestingly shaped masses. And, of course, I have a soft spot in my heart for this part of the country. Nice shot.
Beautiful Jen and it keeps my eyes busy looking at all the beautiful colors. Sometimes Nature is perfect with what she shows us. Excellent capture. It just needs a dust trail to make it perfect.
Nicely done, Jen. It reminds me that there is much beauty in our own "backyards". I love the differences in color and texture here. You do such lovely justice to the many and varied scenes in AZ.
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
No Sig, Just, I want to say "Thank You" to all of the talented photographers for giving me the most beautiful desktops I could ever imagine. The artistry here is breathtaking.
