I had just finished falling up the temple with 2 cameras, 3 lenses and a tripod when I came upon this. Everyone was watching the bloody lady but I was watching these guys. I loved the way the evening light made everything glow. Thanks in advance for any comments. ENJOY!

I love it! The lighting is amazing. What is the bottle beside the one guy? and...I'm sure you provided some entertainment for them :)

I couldn't tell what it was and was a little afraid to remove it thinking I might goof it up. I cropped the shot and that's why that "item" is more obvious.

The lighting is totally glowing on the Monks, WC. The bottle is most likely a bottle of wine they drink while enjoying their cigars. :)
I would have been tempted not to have become caught up in the sizing of the photo and cropped most of the left side and some on the right. Just a redneck opinion. It is a great find.

The lighting works perfectly with these two monks. I completely love this photo. You captured each of their personality in this.

Jen - The evening light provides such gorgeous gold tones. A very fine composition. It is interesting that the monk on the right appears distracted from his prayers by something to the left of your range of view. Very well done! Thad

Have to agree with Thad, the fading light does add a lot to this peaceful scene and lovely golden tones.

Everything is warmed by the fading sunlight and the shadows are nice and long. I am awed by the number of stupas. Aaron makes them in the forest. lol I find all these new images of Myanmar wonderfully interesting. I bet you took zillions. Hope to see them all! Great shot, Jen.

It is indeed an exotic location. Lucky to be able to catch these prayers together with this stupa...and the sunlight...a really wonderful photograph.

I wanted to be a Benedictine Monk, but they said I was too old. I wonder if these guys will take me? LOL. Excellent photography again, Jen.

Jen, this is (for me) one of your best shots ever!
The light is so beautifull and the scenery is to die for.

If you can't find the words, you may as well shoot it...
