Before we left for Burma we made a contribution to do this. When we arrived at the monastery the food had been prepared by the locals. We then served it to over 1,000 monks and nuns. These particular monks are the students. Generally they take their bowls, go shoeless, and beg for food in the area. On this day, they got lots of food and no doubt shared it with their families. Thanks in advance for any comments. ENJOY!

Impressive shot WC. A room full of humility. You don't see that very often. It sounds like they put you to work. I guess they are not camera shy. Excellent post.

Aside from their faces, there is little to tell them apart. Such a nice high up angle and no one knows you are there so the shot is candid. A wonderful scene for us to view from your marvelous travels.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . That is one strange sight. I have viewed this several times not knowing what to say about it. That doesn't look like much of a meal. Can they possibly be happy living like that? I guess so if you don't know any other way.
