Might be the first rose of the year WC. I bet Ace (stanroseman) will love this one. I like the shadow play at work.

Beautiful rose, Jen. I always called them Tea roses, though I don't know if it's correct.
You would probably have even more impact by cropping off at least half of the dark area. It eliminates the natural act of scanning both sides of a subject, when it's facing another direction.
