This was in Burma at a large temple. Thanks in advance for any comments. I particularly liked the columns and the lighting. Thanks in advance for any comments. ENJOY!
I particularly like the repeating element of the columns with the strong contrast of the monk. I wonder if cropping the left so you can't tell the columns end would be an enhancement or not.
I was noticing the graffiti too. I can't believe someone would deface such a wonderful structure. As far as the photo, the lighting is amazing. This is a wonderful photo.
This is an arresting image. This is life, graffitti & all and I find it good to see this realism in an image. The red robes of the monk are a great spash of colour and humanity against the stark vertical lines of the building. The shadows add much to the composition.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Jen - Apparently, graffiti is universal! A terrific composition with the openings and light patterns playing off the geometrical pattern of the floor. The monk provides added interest to the image. Well done! Thad
