Have to agree with those above. I love the color. In this instance it is somehow a richer view because of that added dimension of color. I try to fathom what makes something look better in black and white and it is a difficult decision. Here I find that I am more aware now of the pitcher she holds in her hands and the character of her face. Good capture, Jen.

Jen the b and W was great but the color outdoes it. Fantastic job on this one. Beautiful photo.

I love it in color. I like the color of her shawl. It and the other comments show that color seems to work best with this image. Faved.

Jen - I saw the b/w version prior your removing it; I do like the color version. There is a depth to the image that is not as apparent in b/w. Thad

Yes, the colour is much much better.
Simply necessary in order to fully appreciate the quality and the subject presented itself.
Many thanks, dear.

An interesting vignette, well composed, of a fascinating character. However - sorry to say this, but the image doesn't seem quite sharp. There also seems to be some colour noise in the darker water. A couple of tweaks in Photoshop might well fix both of these points.

I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
