Man who rents toy boats for children to play with in the central fountain of the Tuileries Gardens, near the Louvre, for 2 Euros a pop. Re-uploaded after a small tweak.
The architecture and statues make a nice background for this interesting character study and the colorful sails further enhance the image. I'm curious as to the nature of the tweak.
Terrific shot. I hope you bought one of his lovely boats! I like this for all the wonderful colors and those great buildings and for the human interest it evokes.
It's so quaint. I love that he seems to be surrounded in the most beautiful art, and yet, it doesn't seem to compare to the joy of seeing children sailing those sweet little boats on the water. Did you happen to get a picture of that? I really like this one.
This is such an unusual photo. So very interesting. Wish there were things like this here. He looks happy and well 'weathered.'
I can only imagine how happy he makes little children, and how rewarding that is. I also would love to see a photo of him near the children playing with the toy boats. I also love the architecture behind him, and the statues and the people at their leisure. Very nicely done. Verena
Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained.
