A Manic Monday post of two 1947 Studebakers. These cars were on display at our local farm market which holds a classic auto show every Friday. As of this day I was never able to figure out the front from the back of these cars - I didn't know if they were coming or going lol. Anyhow, I got a good laugh! Enjoy and have a good week!!!!

An unusual and good image for manic Monday Laura. I too thought at first that I was seeing the front.

What an interesting design and model. Plus, you were fortunate to find two, side by side. I like the personalized license plate....47 Stue. Well done, Laura.

Studebaker's like the burgundy one there, are very nostalgic to me, because I remember the one my uncle had very clearly. His was an olive green color...or more like Army green. Beautiful shot of these classics, Laura.

A wonderful shot of these Studebakers from the back, Laura. Although not the original colors, I find it heartening that people preserve these old classics. I really like that split window on the the blue one-great design. Good find.

My husband's family had Studebakers when he was a little boy and he's spoken of them. This is neat shot of the two together!

My brother had two of these and I always thought they were kind of odd looking. This is a nice capture though.

Fantastic capture and it brings back memories of the Studebaker of the one we had when I was a little girl, but not that year. Wonderful colours

This brings back absolutely no memories, fond or otherwise, of Studebakers as I weren't existing at the same time as them. So luckily I wasn't standing confused in the middle of the road as one barreled down on me. :) A great capture of the old autos, Laura. Nice clarity, colours and details in the photo.
