I recently ventured into a very quiet place and found this lovely gazebo that is situated on the grounds of a monastery and overlooks a delightful pond. This tranquil setting invites you to sit down on the bench and inhale the quietness and release the noise of the day. The beautiful deep red blooms of the crepe myrtle were at their peak and added a nice splash of color to the peaceful scenery. These grounds are the definition of a quiet world. This image is my entry into the current contest - Enjoy!!!!

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?
A beautiful view looking out through the gazebo, which seems to frame the scene with multiple windows. At first I thought the bench was a tad dark in the shadows. Then I saw the sunlight on the left which tells me the gazebo is providing shade and protection from the sun. It all works well and I think this will do very nicely in the contest, Laura. Fantastico!

This image certainly gives one the feeling of peacefulness Laura. The water and the greenery will have a soothing effect on any person sitting on that bench. The red flowers add to the beauty of the scene. A very good entry for the contest.

Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors.
It looks like a botanical gardens. I love the pond with the fountain, and the big red flowery bush there. I could sit there and relax looking at all the beauty around for quite a spell. Gorgeous shot and a great entry for the contest. Good luck, Laura.
